About Me

Pradyumna Kumar (PK) an Action Director, who has done many Bollywood Indian Motion Pictures. Born in Orissa, completed his education there and eventually settled down in Mumbai. The inception of my career began in 1990 as a Stunt man - a man with dreams and ambition. My hard work, passion and persistence paid off and within no time i was promoted to the designation of Assistant Fight Master in which i did numerous Bollywood films.

In the initial days of my career i worked as an Assistant to successful, popular and veteran Action Director Veeru Devgan for the films – Phool Aur Kaante, Jigar, Dilwaale, Vishwaatma, Ishq etc. Later assisted Alan Amin in Mission Kashmir, The Legends of Bhagat Singh, Qayamat, Hero etc. During this period even performed dare-devil stunts as a duplicate of Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Suniel Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol and Akshay Kumar.

Impressed with my innate talent, efficiency, honesty and dedication, Aneez Bazmee trusted me and provided me the first break as an independent Action Director in the film – No Entry, followed by Inder Kumar signing him for the film Masti. Indeed my hard work was highly appreciated and instantly got the deserving recognition in the industry.

Since 2004 – the year PK became an Action Director till 2010, i have done over 60 films which includes Karam, Virrudh, Dhamaal, Pyaare Mohan, Teesri Aankh, The Stoneman Murders, Go, Ashique Banaaya Aapne, City of Gold, Mi Shivaji Raje Bhosle Boltoy and many more.

Addition to this had also done some prestigious Hollywood films - American Daylight with Director Roger Christian, Sacred Evil and The Saint Who Thought Otherwise.

To my credit as an PK have also participated in ‘World Stunt Show’ – an international stunt competition in the year 2003 which was held in Moscow.

Apart from feature films, i have done many Ad-films which includes Britannia’s ‘Hide and Seek’ with Hrithik Roshan and Esha Sherwani, and ‘Smart Chips’ with Aamir Khan.

As an Action Director i had professional affiliation with reputed and big production houses like Mahesh Manjrekar Productions, Kaliedoscope, Boney Kapoor’s S.K. Films, Maruti International, Baweja Films, Ram Gopal Verma Productions and others.
